Mountain bikes originated in the United States as a model developed by American youth seeking excitement by driving bikes in fancy races on off-road courses of motorcycle races.

The first person to ride a mountain bike off-road was James Finley Scott, a student at the University of California, who was the first person to convert an ordinary bicycle into a mountain bike style.

The sport was recognized by UCI in 1990 and the first World Cup race was held in 1991.

Mountain bike racing was first held in San Fransisco, USA in the 1970s, and it was not until 1996 that it became an official Olympic sport.

In mountain biking, competitors must have good endurance, balance, and tolerance to outperform their rivals on a rugged and unpredictable course.

While track cycling and road racing are flat, Olympic mountain bike racing (cross-country) differs from these two races because Olympic mountain bike racing uses "flat" tires and fewer aerodynamic considerations.

Crashes occur throughout the race, so competitors need to be able to fix their bikes at any time during the race.

Mountain bikes are bikes designed for off-road (hills, trails, wilderness, and gravel roads) travel and were born in San Francisco on the west coast of the United States in 1977.

At that time, a group of young people who were passionate about riding beach bikes on hillsides had the idea: "It would be fun to ride down the hills on a bike."

So they started the design of the cross-country bike system, officially named the mountain bike is in two years later.

Since then, "downhill athletics" as a new project in the sports competition emerged, athletes riding mountain bikes along the prescribed downhill route, with high-speed slide down, the faster the winner, attracting many enthusiasts.

Although the bicycle began in Europe, the American invention of mountain biking has swept away the traditional concept of bicycles and brought about a competitive boom.

Mountain bikes have shock absorbers for complex terrain driving on bike parts, don't underestimate this small shock absorber.

It can give mountain riding, and improve a big class experience.

Mountain bikes are very different from ordinary bicycle tires. Mountain tires are rougher and have more grip for complex mud, thus reducing the appearance of slippage.

In the complex terrain of the wilderness, uphill and downhill are common occurrences.

Mountain bikes have a shifting function, a feature that is very good for climbing and saves a lot of energy compared to regular bikes.
